some good news

The nurse care manager just called to tell me my chest X-ray is negative.
That is a very good thing.

And Tuesday I have a consultation with a plastic surgeon who will reconstruct my boob. I just found out he's the head of the department, which also sounds like a very good thing. Maybe he's really good at making small-breasted women into large-breasted ones.

What is the significance of the x-ray? Whatever it is, I'm soo glad it's a very good thing! Are you talking "boob" as in boob as compared to boobs? And let's hear it for small ones! Isn't it nice knowing Eric loves you for who you are and not for your hooters?

Boobs aren't all that they are made out to be....take it from an expert. Good news...what lovely words. I forgot to tell you that I have informed 100+ of my closest friends and family about this wonderful thing called Meg's blog. Soon the comments will out-weigh your thougts with all the well wishing and support. I always knew you were special but I thought that was because I'm your mother. Hugs and Kisses in profusion. Mom

Megan: From a survivor to another. You are doing everything right. This a beatable thing and stay on course. Your life is being ultered, however, you are a gem who is being polished and are beautiful, bright, intelligent and I hope to know YOU personally....not just through your Mother and Dad. You have a marvelous support team. Use as much humor as you can muster and strength will be yours as you go through this challenge. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
